There are many wonderful things about Amy Christoffers. First of all, her designs are elegant, original and use techniques effectively to create a seemless join at a shoulder or a gentle drape at a hem. Additionally, she lights up when she talks about her designs or knitting in general, and it's a pleasure to talk with her. And she is a Vermonter who is the featured designer in the most recent issue of Knitscene magazine. We're so excited for her! She has three garments and a scarf in this issue, in addition to an article about her evolution as a designer. The designs are all appealing and perfect to knit now! We chose the Stratford Tee, knit in Elsebeth Lavold Hempathy, which currently graces our window. Come see this lovely garment, check out Amy's designs in Knitscene, or find her on Ravelry. She is worth getting to know as a designer, and if you're lucky, as a person. Based on her prolific/terrific work so far, she is someone to watch!
I added her to my list of favorite designers on ravelry!! Thanks for the tip!
